The Azure Lion Inn is a rustic salon of sorts, a medieval tavern with books on tap. (And also Dr. Pepper. Hey, I don’t drink beer.) Does the world need another book blog? I don’t know, but I don’t think it matters, either. We all have our personal reading journeys, and if LibraryThing has taught me anything, it’s that it’s totally fun to spy on other people’s reading habits. Besides, talking about books is fun! Perhaps someone will want to listen. The Inn is also the home of the Christie Challenge, which is my personal challenge to read everything that Agatha Christie wrote in the original publication order.
Mysteries are my genre fiction of choice – they often make for fast reads, and I love teasing my brain with puzzles – so expect to see quite a lot of those here. (Especially while I’m finishing my Master’s – I need light diversions!) But I read other stuff too – general and historical fiction, plays, and pretty much anything about the Tudors. I’ll share from time to time.
